Electric Motor Rewinding

Electric motor rewinding is where the electric motor windings fail and have to be replaced - often referred to as fusion.

These days it is sometimes easier and more cost effective to replace the motor however, replacements are not always available.

In other occasions it is more cost effective to rewind the motor than replacing it. 

Motor rewinding is also carried out on generators.
